高壓氧治療目前獲美國⻝品藥物管理局（FDA）認可，可用於治療多種疾病。

動脈氣栓 Air and gas bubbles in blood vessels

嚴重貧血 Anemia (severe anemia when blood transfusions cannot be used)

燒傷 Burns (severe and large burns treated at a specialized burn center)

一氧化碳中毒 Carbon monoxide poisoning

擠壓傷 Crush injury

減壓症（俗稱潛水夫病）Decompression sickness (diving risk)

氣性壞疽 Gas gangrene

突發性聽力喪失 Hearing loss (complete hearing loss that occurs suddenly and without any known cause)

皮膚或骨骼感染導致組織壞死 Infection of the skin and bone (severe)

輻射損傷 Radiation injury
